Hello New Home…Where Are You? Not A Single New Active Listing This Week? 7 Day Market Update - Hermosa Beach header image.

Wow….where is my new home??? That is what many active buyers are currently saying. We do not have a single new listing this week in Hermosa Beach. And, with only 24 properties for sale citywide, inventory is the lowest I’ve seen over my entire career in Real Estate.


Yes, we are going into the beginning of the holiday season.

Yes, kids are back in school and people aren’t moving as much.

Yes, there is pent up demand and buyers are still actively looking.

No, there is not an abundance of available options.


Market movement is tied to the amount of inventory available, hence we will likely see less properties in escrow over the next few weeks. Is this a sign that the holiday season will be slow? Well, let’s see if more properties come up next week. This is an amazing time to be a seller. Buyers unfortunately, do not have many options.
