This home was on the market for the first 3 months of this year for $10K more, however did not sell. The same company relisted it. 1222 11th is located east of prospect on the Hermosa Redondo border. This home recently sold in 2016 for $1,125,000.

940 5th is a detached townhome with ocean views. This home last sold in 2004 for $1,1500,000. It seems to be priced well.

300 28th St is a single family home in the sand section of Hermosa. This home was built in 2002 and costs panoramic ocean views. This home sold 2 1/2 years ago for $3.4M. It looks like they have done a fair amount of work to this property since they bought it.

1648 Palm Listed for $1,499,000 3 bed/2 bath

After about 41 days, this home has a buyer. 1648 Palm is a single family home. It was built in 1924, however the inside looks like it was recently updated. This home last sold in 2014 for $1.2M

1934 Prospect Listed for $949,000 2 bed/1 bath

That was quick, in 9 days this one is in escrow. 1934 Prospect is a single family home built in 1921. There are plans that have been prepared if the buyer wants to build a 3600 sq ft. home. It’s currently tenant occupied. We’ve heard the property is in pretty rough shape and that it was likely sold to a developer.

1630 Monterey $4,079,000 4 bed/4.5 bath

Another quick sale! In 9 days, this one has a new potential buyer. 1630 Monterey is in the sand section perched up on the crest, giving it panoramic ocean views. This home sold last in November for $3.9M of last year. I’m not sure why the buyers changed their minds and turned into sellers so quickly!

1638 Hermosa Listed for $3,579,000 4 bed/3.5 bath

It took 9 months and a $720K price reduction, however this new build is in escrow. 1638 Hermosa is a brand new construction (part of a 2 on a lot-see 1635 palm below) located about 2 blocks north of Pier Avenue. This home last sold in 2007 for $1,750,000 prior to the 2 new townhome build.

15 15th #27 Sold for $1,106,000 2 bed/2 bath

15 15th, which is part of a 27-unit complex, sold after a week on the market for $57K above the asking price. This unit is located on the top southwest floor with nice ocean and Catalina views. Unit #12 sold last February for $1,050,000.

725 9th Sold for $1,380,000 3 bed/2.5 bath

725 9th sold in 9 days for almost $20K below asking price. This attached townhome is located in Hermosa valley and has ocean views. This home last sold in 2001 for $538K.

1724 Prospect Sold $2,675,000 4 bed/3.5 bath

1724 prospect is a detached townhouse that was built in 2016. This property has been on and off the market. However, this time, it has a buyer in less than 3 weeks.

224 Bayview Sold for $1,286,500 3 bed/2 bath

224 Bayview is a 2 bed 1 bath and 1 bed 1 bath duplex located in the sand section close to the Hermosa/Redondo beach border. It took 3 price reductions and 3 months, however it has sold for $212K below the original asking price . These small duplexes are getting swept up quickly when they hit their true market price point. 121 Manhattan Avenue, another duplex close by, currently has multiple over asking offers.

516 3rd Sold for $2,712,500 4 bed/3 bath

516 3rd is a single family home located by the Greenbelt and South Park. This home has a rooftop and a recording studio. It’s on a quiet street, where 3rd street dead ends into the greenbelt. This home last sold in 1997 for $335K.

1120 9th Sold for $1,224,000 2 bed/1 bath

In less than a month, this home has sold for slightly below the asking price ($25K). 1120 9th is a single-family home located one property east on prospect. This home was purchased way back in 1971 for $22,500.
